This was a personal project that allowed me to further explore hard surface modeling in Fusion 360 and material creation using Substance Painter. I was able to convert the solid model .step format into a quad model for import into C4D with little clean up using a program called MoI. Substance Painter did an excellent job auto UV'ing the model and Redshift handled the simple space scene environment well.

Fusion 360 is being increasingly adopted by game asset creators for it's relative ease of use (for a CAD program)and powerful solid modeling toolsets. Converting the CAD models to quads can be unpredictable but hopefully, future releases will further streamline and optimize this process.
